Retaining tab on faston terminal is clear, including tool marks made while releasing it from the connector housing.

With ignition on, OD engaged (OD off light is unlit) power is present on terminal 87. Momentarily touching the white lead to the powered terminal should result in a spark and an audible click from the solenoid, given the engine is not running to mask the sound.
